Your East Glos Club Board and Sports Committees
The East Gloucestershire Club Limited (EGCL) Board of Directors, all of whom are members of the club, are in overall control of the club’s affairs. East Glos Club Coaching Limited (EGCCL) is simply a trading subsidiary and is fully accountable to the club board; its main purpose is to generate a financial surplus from courses, hosted tournaments and other non-member activities.
The EGCL Board is elected at the annual general meeting and the EGCCL Board is then appointed by the club board. Responsibility for the day to day management of the club is delegated to the club manager.
The coordination of member playing activities is delegated to sports committees representing tennis, squash/racketball (and table tennis), and padel (and pickleball). The members of these committees are elected at the annual general meeting.
