Local students produce promotional video for East Glos

Earlier this month, we were pleased to welcome University of Gloucestershire students Mike Shaw, Alice Coles, Matthew Ravenhill and Harry Bowman to East Glos.

As second-year students on the university’s film studies course, one of their assignments was to produce a promotional video for a local business or organisation. We were delighted to take up this offer.

Club member Julian Wellings, who sits on the club’s marketing committee, said, “As a video producer and editor myself, I was delighted to liaise with the students on this project. From the initial briefing to the timely delivery of the finished film, the students were a pleasure to work with. The communications throughout were excellent, and it was clear from our initial meeting that they had plenty of creative ideas to portray everything East Glos offers. During the location shoots, the team endeared themselves to the club’s coaches and members, taking care to ensure their presence was not too intrusive”.

You can view the completed film below, which will be highly effective in promoting East Glos. Thank you to all the club members who took part.
